** DELAYED ** RSE Strategic "Virtual" Retreat Fall 2020

The COVID-19 Pandemic requires that this retreat be held virtually in the Fall. Details will follow.

RSE is at a crossroads.  The only way we will be able to make good decisions on the future of RSE is through the input and involvement engaged Alumni and Junior Members.  We must formulate a new vision of RSE that adds value to the RSE Junior Members, the RPI community and the Alumni of RSE.

To make this formulation in the most efficient and interactive way possible, RSE is holding a Strategic Retreat at the House in Troy, NY.  This retreat will evaluate options for RSE and its role in the broad educational and community missions of the organization. A recommendation of a new structure that makes RSE a more relevant and essential part of the RPI community is the objective.

The Trustees and the Committee will hold a retreat this summer in Troy on the weekend of August 28-30th, 2020 to review feedback, assess alternative states, and outline a plan moving forward for the Fall 2020.  This retreat will  utilize survey results as well as direct feedback from Alumni and Junior Members for assessing alternative future states for RSE, and outlining a plan for moving forward in the Fall 2020.  This preliminary plan will be presented at the Trustees meeting in the Fall of 2020 for discussion and approval.

The retreat will be held at 1501 Sage Avenue. If you are planning to attend, please let us know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  We are currently working to secure a group rate with a local hotel.
