  • Now Accepting Nominations for the Board of Trustees - Respond Before the December Trustees Meeting +

    Last winter's biennial RSE Trustee Elections were delayed as we sought additional candidates to fill positions on our board. In the months since, we have embarked on an effort to redefine our purpose and structure so that the Society may continue to be viable for the next 150 years.     As we approach the midpoint of a very unusual semester, with many Greek organizations not living in their houses, a limited number of students on campus, and with nearly all students taking at least some classes online, it is safe to say that RSE’s JMs are navigating unprecedented events. The RSE Clubhouse is unfortunately unoccupied for the semester as RSE strives to cooperate with the RPI administration in their efforts to keep the campus safe and healthy.   • Junior Members Step Up During COVID Crisis +

    We are now two months into one of the strangest semesters in the history of 1501 Sage Ave – as the pandemic continues to march across our campus, and the rest of the nation. Thanks to the efforts of the Junior Membership President Zach Alexander ’21 and House Manger Matt Binshtock ’21 the structure is still being well cared for. During the summer the Trustees utilized assets from our Reserve Account to perform maintenance on the Front Porch.   • RSE Receives Suede RSE Seal from Daughter of 1938 Alumnus +

    In September, Mrs. Barbara Towne Patterson shipped a suede RSE logo to the RSE Clubhouse. This unique seal belonged to her late father, Robert Dickinson Towne ‘38. She mentioned that he had always considered it an important piece of RSE memorabilia. As you can see, the logo is a beautiful rendition of the RSE seal in the House colors of orange and black. RSE Society President Tom Keating ’75 sent her a note of appreciation for this thoughtful donation and promised that it would be maintained. Annual Dues and Donations

Annual dues and donations support maintenance and renovations to all areas of the RSE clubhouse and occasional alumni activities. They also support our alumni communications program, including publication and distribution of OveRSEer and other mailings. Annual dues and donations are not tax deductible.
