    Richard (Rick) Packer '79 Richard (Rick) Packer credits his time at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and the Rensselaer Society of Engineers (RSE) for teaching him valuable life skills that have served him well in his career, in addition to the stellar education he received. Packer graduated from RPI with a bachelor’s degree in management engineering (since renamed industrial and systems engineering) in 1979, followed by a master’s in information systems in 1980. The JMs are really feeling the impact of their unfortunate decisions last year as the normal events of the house have been significantly curtailed. No other activity has had a bigger negative impact on the house than the cancellation of this year’s rush. Annual Dues and Donations

Annual dues and donations support maintenance and renovations to all areas of the RSE clubhouse and occasional alumni activities. They also support our alumni communications program, including publication and distribution of OveRSEer and other mailings. Annual dues and donations are not tax deductible.
