    By now you should have received your official, formal Pi Eta/RSE Sesquicentennial invitation to join your fellow alumni, their guests and our current Junior Members at the RSE Clubhouse during the weekend of October 7-9, 2016 to celebrate our 150th Anniversary A complete program for the weekend is being finalized and will include Clubhouse tours highlighting recent renovations, presentations on RSE life, semi-formal dinner Saturday night and much more.   • Results of the Latest RSE Biennial Trustee Elections +

    The latest edition of the RSE Biennial Elections took place in April and were coordinated by RSE Board Secretary Eric Stoever ‘04, Voting was open and available to all RSE alumni and it was conducted by both the traditional mail in ballots and via electronic means through the RSE website. The results of the election were announced at the Spring Society Meeting held in the Living Room of the RSE Clubhouse on the afternoon of Saturday, April 16th. Read More
  • Where Will Your Interests Lead You? Following Wes Lord +

    This excellent article about RSE Alumnus and Secretary of the RSE Foundation, Wes Lord ’72, is being reprinted with the prior approval of the Pratt & Whitney (division of UTC). It was originally published in their in-house newsletter. Thanks to another RSE alumnus, Mike Savage ’95, for making us aware of it via the RSE Facebook Group. The year was 1973 and a young Wes Lord, now a fellow in System Architecture Functional Design, found himself graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.     By Eric Stoever '04 Edwin Seton Jarrett was born in Brooklyn New York on March 7, 1862, the fourth of five children born to James M. Jarrett and Sarah O. Heathers. His had parents immigrated to America separately and married in New York on May 1, 1850, his father had been born in London, England, his mother was from Ireland. Following their marriage James was employed by Wardell and Pease, a sauce and pickle manufacturer. He was later employed in the manufacture of ink and finally as a chemist for a chocolatier. Donations

Annual Dues and Donations

Annual dues and donations support maintenance and renovations to all areas of the RSE clubhouse and occasional alumni activities. They also support our alumni communications program, including publication and distribution of OveRSEer and other mailings. Annual dues and donations are not tax deductible.

 

RSE Foundation

The RSE Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charity that provides financial support for the educational objectives and facilities of the RSE clubhouse.
